86 turbo coupe 5 spd d/r... thinkin about a cherry bomb exhaust... any recomendations? Oh and what size is stock exhaust on an 86 soob... like what size cherrybomb would i need? I NEED INPUT thanks...

i have a cherry bomb on my car i think it was 2 inches but i would check since yours is a turbo, they are awesome, you get a lot of funny looks when people watch you drive by. a station wagon. lol sounds better than hondas though.

This is my side-exit cherry bomb (Actually Thrush, but whatever). It's a 2", and it's the shortest length I could find - I think 25". Most auto parts stores seem to have these, so you could save yourself some shipping be checking around. Sounds awesome.

you can pay 20 bucks for a glasspack or cherry bomb, anywhere. bet a 1 7/8 or 2 inch inlet and exit. they sound great, and work awesome!

Not a big fan of cherry bombs. Ran couple of them on my Subaru. They do not hold upto abuse well (I dented mine offroading a lot) and are pretty poorly crafted internally.

 

I perfer the Trush glass pack. A lot more thought went into the design and a lot more into the actual consturction. Just looking down the tube you can see a thought out design. The louvers are in a rifled pattern and the construction materials are beefier.

 

The price is very comparable. Glass packs are usually $20 for the 48" ones where as cherry bombs are $15. Well worth the extra few bucks in my book :)
