16" WRX wheels on 98 legacy?

Featured Replies

I'm in need of new tires and I see on ebay that I can get stock 16s from a WRX with tires for around 300. Will stock WRX wheels bolt right onto my 98 legacy wagon no problem?

shouldn't be any problem at all. I have a set of tmen on my 94 legacy and they are great. the down side is the tires that come with the WRX really suck.

I have them on mine, no problem. Check the www.nasioc.com board the WRX guys pull them all the time. If you watch, you see them go for $200 and up with less than 5000 miles on them. How are your old rims? If they are in good shape and you're going to sell, let me know. Thanks Larry Lmdew@hotmail.com

Thanks guys

Larry,

my old rims are the 14" steelies and I would probably save them and put snow tires on them. I've never had snow tires on an AWD car...seems like overkill but I bet it would be fun...or would it be harder to power slide? I need to power slide. I'm having serious snow withdrawl right now. PLEASE COMETH WINTER!

PLEASE COMETH WINTER!
I'm so jealous of you guys who live where snow happens! I recently moved from Seattle to San Diego. Here, winter consists of a couple days of rain. BORING!! It's almost a waste to have AWD here. But I still wouldn't be without my wonderful, reliable Legacy!
