Can you fit the grill and headlight assembly from a 1980 in the palce of the grill/headlamp assmbly on a 1982 car?

ya, along with the front fenders. and some cutting, and welding.

if the 82 is a 4WD (large rectangular style) then it would be a much easier swap. the 82 2WD's with the quad headlights would involve a lot more cutting on the front support.....
