Why is my turn signal blinking double speed? No bulbs burned out?

Featured Replies

2002 Legacy, the right turn signal blinks double speed, but both the front and rear bulbs are flashing, looks the same as the front and rear bulbs on the left, which flash at normal speed.

I'm accustomed to fast flashing means a bulb burned out, but none of the bulbs seem to be burned out.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Someone put LED bulbs in?

Poor contacts in the bulb socket.

The socket for the front turn signal is defective, won't make consistent contact with the bulb. The socket unplugs from the harness, but I can't find a replacement. Does anyone have a source for that? It takes an 1156 single filament bulb on one end, and has two prongs to plug into the wiring harness connector on the other.

Have 50 lbs of Halibut?  Yards.  www.car-part.com

Left or right side or both?  Pic would be nice.  I could pull them for you.

Just the right side so far. I'll try to get a picture today.

We live in the Interior, so no halibut for us.

A good selection of bulbs and sockets packed and ready to ship.  I just need your name and address.  I looked through the emails on my phone today and could not dig it up.  I know you sent the info.  Please resend to: Lmdew2@gmail.com

Got the Mail.  Thanks, some interesting stickers.  Hope the socket/bulb package provided a solution.

IrfanView is a free download. If you show format options, you can magically set the file size to whatever you want, and the pictures still look ok.
