How can you tell if your e.g.r valve is warking or not?How much vacume does it pull? and can it be plated over and eliminated? Thanks for any help ! EA82 carb

Yes, it can be plated over. I tried running without the egr back when I was running the hitachi carby. Really didn't notice any differance in power or throttle response. I did bypass it when I put the Weber in. Still hasn't gotten plated over yet, it's just sitting dormant 4 now.

to "feel" if it's working use a vac. pump with gauge and stick a finger under the diaphram to "feel" it move up and down
