My not so bad Emission Test This evening

Featured Replies

I took my Legacy in for the Emission test, it passed. I then wrote the check for $75.00 which covers the test $21 and the registration Fee $54. So I one 15min stop I got the test done and new registration. Just can't beat that.

Oh the Resaults

Idle 5 HC 0.00% CO 15.1% CO+CO2

2500RPM 13 0.19% 14.6%

Standards 220MAX 1.00%MAX 6.0%MIN

The car had great numbers and it was like old home week in a garage owned by someone who used to work for me.

If the car is in good shape its no problem but as they age......

Porbably not, since I've got an EJ22 from an 97 I'm having to use the Y-pipe for an single Port EJ22 which has 2 cats and I still have the original center pipe from my 94 which also has a cat.

yeah now for me to take my 76 through the gauntlet that we love to call DEQ luckily when it comes time for the OBS to go through all they do is plug it in :)

your 76 shouldn't have any problems

It's amazing how the State can take $75 from some one (about $150 in earned money) and leave them smiling. Recent reports in the Cleveland area have exposed emission test as pretty bogus.
