has anyone ever had problems with their o2 sensors, because i am going to buy this 88' gl-10 turo. The owner says that it has a bad o2 sensor and it causes it to burn off fuel when it starts and spew a bit of black smoke. is that a problem with the o2 sensor?

 

is $300 a good deal for the gl-10 with 178k and an auto tranny?

$300 is not bad at all if its running / driving / tagged

 

For the best ownership experience, I would suggest doing some major maintenence right from the get go.

 

Timing belts

water pump

radiator hoses

belts

radiator flush/repair/replace

reseal cams/crank/oil pump
