August 28, 200421 yr hello all, I need to check/re set the ignition timing on the brumby. does anyone have the specs for.. point gap, degrees before TDC for points to open and maybe plug gap OR a link to the same info. thanx
August 28, 200421 yr 82 should not have points.... and if it does then no one on here will have the specs I doubt. The US never got EA81's with points distributors... Timing is 8 degrees at 700 RPM's +-100 RPM's Plug gap should be right around .040" GD
August 30, 200421 yr Author hmmmmmmmm, thats very interesting, all the utes here had points distributers. i did a hunt and found a copy of a gregorys manual available online.Quite adequate for my needs. Thanks to the person who took the time to scan and upload. 82 should not have points.... and if it does then no one on here will have the specs I doubt.
