Recurved Distributors

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Those of you with a recurved distributor, can you post up your results with it and how you like/liked it? I've read 3 different threads with a mention of it in it (2 of them by General Disorder) but nothing more than just a mention of it. Ram Performance (http://www.ramengines.com) says this----->

"Recurving the distributor properly will add 13ft.lbs torque and aid in idle control."

That's a lot of torque for an EA81 engine. I'm not sure if they are talking about a highly worked/modified one, a stock one or both.

Can anyone with experience in this area enlighten me/us? Thanks!
