Engine Swap - Lift Install Meet

Featured Replies

I'm calling out all Northern Nevadans and Californians who want to help me pull an engine in my 82 Brat on the 23 and 24th of September. I'll be renting a cherry picker to make things easier and will buy everyone meals for the duration of the meet. If everything goes well, I'll also want to install my byb 4" lift kit as well, though we'll see if we have time. If we don't get done in time, we can meet the 1st of October. See ya then.

Count me in! I'll bring my air compressor and tools. Pulling motors are fun! :brow:

Still a go everyone! A week from this coming Thursday. Any other takers?

If you guys can get four people together, the lift will be pretty easy and quick. One person at each corner. We did Ken's silver brat that way, took us an hour and a half to get it back on the ground and on its wheels.

(No compresor, no power tools.)

Hey, Scott and Shawn will be here around 11 on Thursday. Brain, what time are you planning on being here?

Dont forget to take pictures, for those of us that missed the event :( .

Two people can lift the engine out of the bay without much effort, I have never used a lift on EA81s, it takes more time to set it up than to just reach in and grab it.
