Own a 1986 GL 4door sedan with a flasher that I believe is out. The hazard and turn signal lights blink once, if that , and then nothing. I purchased a new electronic flasher at the local parts store but after several days under the dash, I have yet to find it. Can anyone please head me in the right direction?

look in the steering column

On my 82 the flashers are in the general Firewall, fusebox, steering column area. Mine were silver cylinders about the size of a film tube.

 

Removing some lower plastic may help you find them???
