I just registered. Never seen the board before, but I am investigating the best first mods for my new 2005 STi. My other car is a 2000 Camaro SS with a single T-76 turbo running 15 lbs. I want to wake up the STi a little. It seems a little sluggish compared to the 'maro

Welcome, and yes, this is a great board where you'll find a ton of info to help you with greater performance for your new soob.

Pretty much anything you do in the way of power mods for an STi is going to require some kind of engine management. For that reason, just starting power mods can be a little pricey. It's one of the reasons I opted to modify my suspension and a few other things, instead.

Yep. More power is only useful in the "traffic light Grands Prix" or on the dragstrip.

 

Better suspension, brakes, and tyres is what makes difference on the track.
