  1. Tons of pictures . . . hi-res. . . . bleh, just go check them out!!! http://www.42motorsports.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=311 A few teasers:
  2. Hmmm. . . I can check my seat skins and let you know. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a bit more difficult to swap than just "taking off the leather and putting on the cloth" though. You also have to consider the door cards. They'll also need to be swapped as they have leather inserts on them.
  3. Was great meeting you, Noah. . . after having seen you up here and heard nice things said about you. Laurel and I will definitely be hitting you up for a copy when they're ready. Will you be accepting Paypal, or setting something up for electronic payments?
  4. Yes . . . Laurel and I would love to acquire a copy of the pictures as well.
  5. Just want to thank the regulars (the Portland crew) and the other LC.org folks Laurel and I already knew for making our campsite entertaining . . . and to all you we met for the first time, it truly was a pleasure. Austin, thanks for the ride you gave us on the trail . . . hope the video turns out, and I wish I had brought the camera. Oh well, we'll just wait for Noah to post what he took. A big thanks to the Rallitek crew (specifically Joel, Brydon, Matt, etc) for the company while trying to find the rest of the pack Saturday evening. I had a good time, despite never reaching our destination. And a huge thanks to Ken and the rest of the event organizers for putting together what I thought was a well-done weekend. As Laurel mentioned, let us know what we can do to help out for next year.
  6. Agreed. I was disgusted to hear that ANYTHING was stolen, let alone items that are representative of the entire community. What a slap in the face.
  7. Still bummed you sold them. . . . but at least your new Brat is a very worthy replacement! Especially with those pink rims you had on it when you were at the dealership.
  8. Yeah, I need to keep to the plowed roads . . . so long as the snow's not more than a couple inches deep on the road, I'm good to go.
  9. Okay, so I took this photo a couple weeks ago during a trip up to Steven's Pass for some snowboarding. It's been getting some great fanfare lately. . . from the STi board, to Nasioc, and even from the Australian RS Liberty board . . . so Laurel suggested I submit it for next year's USMB calendar. If the powers that be would like some fair-weather photos for a non-winter month instead, please let me know. . . I've got a few things I'm doing to the car before summer that should really be something. . . including some track photos from Pacific Raceway once I head down to get my track cert this spring. Anyway. . . let me know.
  10. Sounds like you at least found some good runs, Russ. Good to hear. I'm heading up to Steven's tomorrow and Friday morning . . . we'll see how good things actually are up there once and for all. I'm TOTALLY wanting to hit up Tahoe this spring. Never been there, always wanted to go.
  11. Understood, Russ. Sorry the conditions up here weren't much better. . . this time last year the resorts were doing great. Finally got my bindings New Year's Eve, as well. Put them on and spent about an hour tuning them with Joe. Should be ready now. . . but if you're heading back, already . . . well, sound like better snow at Tahoe, anyway. I can't WAIT to hit the mountain, now!
  12. Sheesh . . . okay. Snow at Stevens, still iffy. Kind of the same with Crystal, although I'm going to try and get an update. Problem I have right now is. . . I won't have bindings for my board until AFTER Friday, now. Might not be doing the boarding thing with you, Russ. Sorry.
  13. Keeping tabs on the snow reports. . . may have to head to Crystal instead of Stevens when you get here, Russ. Nice part is, Crystal really DOES have better snow and runs, for the most part.
  14. NICE! Snowboard gear would go over very well with me, too! PM sent, by the way.
  15. I had the sinking problem in powder last season. My 159 board just wasn't enough. (5'11" and 210 lbs here) Not to mention my friend (who teaches boarding) set up my bindings for a very aggressive stance. I could tear up any other condition, but deep powder would slow me down so much at times that I couldn't keep going. Now I've got a brand new Burton Triumph 164. It's longer, wider, and I can set up the bindings for a more optimal all-mountain ride, and I should be able to stay up in deep powder much more easily. At any rate, the invite for New Year's Eve stands.
  16. Oh yeah. . . Russ. . . . If you don't have any plans for New Year's Eve, just come on back to my place after we're done boarding. We're having a get-together with a great bunch of friends. . . some of whom are big Subbie nuts . . . and a few more would be most welcome.
  17. Awesome Brian! Pre-spending that new paycheck, are we?
  18. Sounds good, Russ. Keep me posted and we'll make something happen.
  19. Hmm, well it was worth a try. Don't think any of us will be too ready to board the morning of the 1st. lol
  20. Laurel and I should be heading up to Steven's pass with a friend or two in my car on the 31st. . . IF she can get the day off work. Shouldn't be a problem, though, she's putting in a request for that day off, I think. We both board pretty decently. Would be fun to meet some out-of-town folk over the holidays.
