September 18, 200421 yr yet another question! My rear defrost stopped working all of a sudden.. Fuses are good anything else it could be? Winter is coming quick in ak thanks guys
September 18, 200421 yr Look down the defrost stripes on the back window. Most likely one of the stripes got corroded. They sell a kit to fix it at napa. Its like 10 bucks. If the stripes are bad in one spot, it should be darker then the rest of them. Clean it off with rubbing alcohol and install the glue like the package says

September 18, 200421 yr Yeah. Bristol Bay is cool in the summer, but thats it. The winters there are so damn lame.. No snow. All it does it rain during the winter
September 18, 200421 yr To make sure you have power getting to the rear connections I would check them with a test light. You should get a light with the switch turned on. If you don't have power there may be a relay problem.
September 18, 200421 yr sorry to hijack, but either of you AK fellows been to "slim's lodge" ? don't exactly remember where it is, but it is (was?) run by either a distant relative of mine, or one of my grandfather's friends... got some cool pics of the place somewhere
September 19, 200421 yr Do you hear a relay click on when you push the button? Check the connections on the grid itself, they do like to come un-attached from the grid. Doesn't take much of a hit to pop them off, either. So be carefull when checking them. As stated in above post, check for power at the connections on the grid. One side should be hot, other side is ground. If you have power on one side, check your ground connection. There's afew repair kits on the market, no real preferance here of one over the other.
