October 12, 200421 yr I just looked under my RX today and discovered why the engine sounds so loud (Nice, however). The link between the turbo manifold tube and the catalitic convertor is completely off. The rest of the exaghst looks ok, so I'm wondering if I could just replace the cat. If so, what would be a good cat to use? It doesn't necisarily have to be high performance (that will come later), but if it isn't too much more I'll consider it now. If I do need to replace it all, what would be good components to use?
October 12, 200421 yr its not much more. just do it. my two cats are fat and mischevious. I hear ocolots(sp) make great pets. but seriously get rid of the stock down pipe for somthing with flow and throw a single 3 way cat under it. it will purr like a kitten.
October 12, 200421 yr get rid of the stock down pipe for somthing with flow and throw a single 3 way cat under it. it will purr like a kitten. If you aren't prepared to spend the money on a complete turbo-back setup right now, just get a cheapy that will hold you over Otherwise, have someone bend you a 2.5 inch downpipe and go 2.5 inch all the way back with a hi-flow 3 way cat and a better flowing muffler P.S. no on listens to russ
October 12, 200421 yr P.S. no on listens to russ What?:-p was I geting out of line again? ok I will try to keep quiet. mabey I will go play with the dog for a few.
