Hi

I have a bad oil leak coming from in btw the oil filler tube( where you put oil in the engine ) and the valve cover.

I am just wondering what type of gasket is it? Rubber o ring or paper gasket?

Can I use the gasket from the tube to seal the leak?

they are a paper gasket and yes i would just use the gasket silicone to seal it up

it is a paper gasket. it has a built in strainer to keep loose nuts bolt and small animals out of your motor. I would try to locate the stock type gasket for that reason.

if it were me, immediately after reinstalling it with out the strainer gasket I would probably drop somthing down the hole. maby that stuff just happens to me.
