Rear sedan wiper for 1992 WRX!!! Kiwi Subis ROCK!

Featured Replies

Subaru is FINALY bringing a little of their coolest stuff to the states... I got looking at http://www.trademe.co.nz they have hundreds of amazing subis for sale... Like 1996 STI wagons, amazing looking Foresters, 1989+ Legacy Wagons with twin turbos and 5spds, and the ever popular 1992 WRX sedan With a rear Wiper!!!

Yikees, we don't get nearly the cool stuf in the states...Not as many amazing wagons...and the only American subi sedan to have a rear wiper was the SVX... Sigh..... have a look at this: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Subaru/auction-16862060.htm

I think I need to figure out how to put a rear wiper on my friends Impreza for Christmas... than and an "I" badge, and the 2-door RS spoiler he has on his 4-door L, and it'd be one unique car.

Oh and all the Interiors kick butt! (other than the RHD) Things like awesome 3 spoke steering wheels insted of the uggle 2 spoke we had in 90-93ish...! And cooler dash and seats. !!!

Man, I need to move to New Zealand!

Now i know what i am getting for my birthday.....or wait christmas....rear wipers are cool....not that cool lookin'....but cool usin'....Anyone know of any AT/MT swap scholarships out there :brow: harumph.....alas.......................................

That's pretty interesting since the first Impreza WRX didn't come out in Japan until 93.

as I am married to a Kiwi and we have many relatives there. The interesting thing about Kiwi is that they accept cars of all major standards. This means you can have BMWs with european only equipement, JDM cars, Ozzie cars, and America's best.

This was where I first tried a WRX and came back babbling about them to my friends. Now that we have them too folks see what I meant.

You might really nejoy a trip to New Zealand, I used to bring old British car parts home when I collected them, and now it's JDM heaven.

rear wiper conversions have been done already :)

expect to spend no less than $600 on the glass/wiper itself

add to that the labor to install

Chaste Auto and Gr8wheels.com are popular sites for true JDM conversion pieces...

Yea, Gr8Wheels would one of the places, but they seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. I have Jon's cell phone number and Kevin's private e-mail address, and they will not return calls or e-mails. I've never tried the other place, I'll have to look them up.

Found them, here's a link, http://www.chasteauto.com/newindex.htm
