I have been poking around some PAP yards and I noticed that some older Toyotas have Aisan Carbs. They appear to be the same try of mounting. Per http://www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/other/toy_motor.html they have roughly the same flow rate as a Weber 32/36..

Does anyone know if they will bolt onto a soob EA engine? what performance can be expected out of one of these?

A lot of guys with Toyotas perfer the Aisins and some swap to the Weber 32/36 and some even bigger. On the Toyotas there is a lot of monkey motion to get the 32/36 to fit From what I remember it take one spacer and two adapters with the stock intake. Or with a Offenhauser intake you only need the one spacer. But again - Anything is possible.
