October 21, 200421 yr something tells me it might be the same then. my subaru has the same maf as my 3.0 4runner, just has one extra fuel pump switch inside. i dont think theres alot of difference in these denso parts.
October 21, 200421 yr I would bet that the voltage range would be different. I know I tried to use an SVX Maf sensor on one of my XT6s and it was a no go. Worked for a split 2nd and no more. The voltage range would have to be the same so the ECU would receive the correct readings. This voltage I am talking about is the signal from the MAF to the ECU. I wouldn't be surprised if our Maf sensor is one of those 'one-off' deals like the bolt pattern of our wheels................The POS.
October 21, 200421 yr i would go with mxyl.something or other said hehe the maf's may appear the same but chances are in fact i would almost bet money they are calibrated diffrently since a bigger motor will pull more air than a smaller one at he same rpm/ load level
October 21, 200421 yr in my defence i did some tests, and the ohms of each pin respectively were the same between the two units i tested, and it ran with the toyota plugged in, but then again, it runs with the maf unplugged too =]

Are you able to drive around without the Maf sensor hooked up? That's strange!
