phishy75
I just bought an 85 wagon with the EA82T and a busted timing belt (pretty stoked - she's in great shape and I got her for a song!!). I've already got an 86 wagon with a carbed EA82 (non-turbo) and an extra set of timing belts. Anyone know if they are the same belts and I can just throw mine on there? cheers Jon btw: first time post - i love this board - its got so much great info!!! Vanislru
Was this the burgundy one in the buy and sell with the noisy lifters? Nice to see yet another islander o the board.
phishy75
Vanilsru... it's burgundy, but i dont know about the lifters cause it doesnt run without the timing belts. the guy who sold it is doing so for his stepson who is gone to Oz. We'll see today when i put the new belts in but she's only got 125,000 km so im hoping all else is well or at least minor. i've been spendign WAY too much time under the hood of my 86 lately so i wanna make it the parts car. Hopefully i'll be passing thru the valley lots this winter on my way to mt washington!!! Cheers; Jon
