I know a long time ago, I found a thread all about removing all the emissions stuff before putting a weber on an EA-82. I can't seem to find it again and I'm about to be doing just that. If anyone knows what i am talking about please let me know. I know there was all kinds of useful stuff on there about what vacume lines to plug and which to pull. Thanks.

Because a webber is a simple carb it doesnot need all the junk that the hitachi needs. Remove everthing except the brake booster line, vac selector line for heater runing thru firewall, vac advance for your dizzy (this comes off a port on the webber), you can plug the air injection system (lets oxygen into your cat), positive crankase ventiation system (can be simpilied) and you can remove the charcoal canister if you wont. Btw this is from memery from my ea81 but I think they have pretty much the same junk. Others should chime in if i have got something wrong.
