Found a nice dark blue '98 Outback wagon with 119,000 on it. Its a 5-speed with mostly standard equipment. Inside & out are nice. Mechanically strong. Anyone want to give me an idea of what I might have to pay for it. What would be a good deal?

under 4k given the age, miles, etc. - that's what i'd pay, and i'm not far from you

If it is out at the guy in Deer Lake then you will be paying a lot more than the quoted 4K in the post above mine....Nice guy out there but his prices are a little steep for me.... Otherwise I think it sounds like a 5-6K car in general. If you are looking for a 5 speed there is a 96 outside of lancaster that is white and has the 2.2 in it (better motor than the one you are looking at)
