I can't really answer that hops cause of I have the EA-65 1300cc motor with a EA-71 jetted carb on it so it runs a lil bit rich

Here are my Gen 1 mileages: (All electronic ignition)

 

Mixed city/hwy

79 DL wagon 5speed 34

79 GF 5 speed 35-36

79 wagon automatic 25 (Just installed electronic ignition last night, it may improve)

 

80 BRAT 4 speed 28-30

 

(Strictly highway mileage in the GF recently was 41)

 

 

I use mobil1 in all the cars!! It made a difference
