how do i replace my rear cv joint on the drivers side? i just got it out of the rear diff now how do i get it out of the rear drum break, do i hit the pin out just like on the rear diff side?

to remove a rear axle, first remove the roll spring pins, using a 3/16 ROLL PIN punch, one for each end

 

then disconnect the dif side, then disconnect the wheel side

I believe if you jack up the car to take all the weight off the tire, the CV will come out after removing the pins. If it hasnt been removed in a while it may take some effort to break it loose from the rust and grime around it.
