What is the aluminum thing thats says "4wd turbo" on the top of my motor? I don't mean to sound dumb, I've never had a turbo bfore.

It's the "4wd turbo thingy"!

 

I think that it can be called the intake plenum... probably has a more proper name, and others will probably point that out. FSM calls it an "air intake duct".

i think that the plenum is the proper name for the part, just prey it never pops off while you are trying to get on the highway
