December 21, 200421 yr I just bought a 95 legacy with a 2.2 auto AWD with 133000 miles. What are some common engine swaps? I would like to put a 5 speed tranny in it. I've heard a WRX engine would bolt in. Is this true? What are some easy upgrades for the current engine?

December 21, 200421 yr To be completely accurate, John's adapter will allow the use of a D/R 5sp behind an EJ motor in any vehicle.
December 21, 200421 yr Being more attuned to old school stuff, I hadn't thought of putting a new gen (awd) 5 spd in when a d/r is an option. What was I thinking?
