What years can I use it on? the only ones I have seen with the 2 vac ports was on the pre-81 1600 motor. it will physically fit and work as is in the ea71/ea81s
December 24, 200421 yr Author Thanks for the good news! It's new, I got it cheap and I wanted to put it in my EA81 which has a questionable distributor that I've been siliconing but still won't start after a heavy rain. Can I use the transistor ignition and coil on the EA81 too? Would I just plug the vac outlet for retard?

I'm guessing you need to use them both. the newer distys have a spring on the vac advance, so that you don't have to back it off with a retard vacuum.... again, guessing....
