My Scoob has got me through some bad wet wet weather recently.

Thinkin of puttin a tall pipe above the hood , to get water free air.

a big thing , sorta like a bassoon, so thw faster I go -------the more air I get, and NO water,

You're talking about building a snorkel for your intake? If you're doing a lot of driving in deep water, probably a good idea. If not, there's really no need.

A friend of mine from Scotland says that many Subarus are cut and refashioned into pickups there. He was trying to find me a photo, but no luck yet.

 

Have you seen any, and if so, do you have any pics?
