August 20, 200322 yr IT's a long shot but, I figured I 'd ask anyways. Tranny is a 4wd dual range w/ center dif lock.
August 20, 200322 yr its not like making an adapter is hard, it just takes a LONG time to get everything right so it all lines up. I was kinda thinking about putting an EA82 in my wagon but I would have to make an adapter.... hmmmm too bad you don't live on the west coast cause I would sooo buy your Firebird. It would look nice next to my Camaros:brow:

August 20, 200322 yr Shawn is correct, and there are suppose to be adapters out there, they are just very hard to get ahold of. I have put an EJ20G(turbo) engine and tranny into an 87 RX 3dr (UltimateRX). I also believe that there are about 3 or 4 EJ20G conversions into EA82 series cars running around Australia. As far as a D/R in an EJ series tranny, there is suppose to be such a thing, but I haven't seen one yet, but if anyone can get a part number for one, let me know, I do have a Japanese source.
