MIKEKACH
Just bought a 94 legacy wagon , no factory air lifts . 4WD AUTO 2.2 Gosh its acoolcar,, first car I bought with 145000 miles that everything still worked ! I am wondering what the best way to lift (or beef up )1,2,3 inches at least the rear anyway. (spacers??) (antigrav??) well let me know if you tried something you like. I need to add a class 1 tow hitch also to go get farm stuff etc... If I make my own can you send me a picture of where to make the bolts fit on the frame. Also whats the largest tire I can fit in the wheel well ?? Thanks for any info you can pass on. Mike K.
ballitch
just remember with larger tires you lose gearing and your speedo and odo will be off, but max tire size i would say.....185/70/R14 is stock so........195/85/R14 would probably be a safe assumption, but get all the tires the same time and size, or you will screw your AWD up royally if you have AWD. i believe you should give Mudrat79 a hollar to see if he has made or is willing to fab you up a lift kit for your 94 wagon, but it will cost money so dont bring beer, well bring beer and money . make sure that your front tires dont rub on your struts and springs, you can adjust the front and rear sway bars up to an inch for better ride height I believe, but your cv's will go out quicker, like shorten cv lifespan by about 50k. you should have got an old subie man, god those things kick A$$. ~Josh~
coloradosubarules
Owning a 90 legacy wagon I have asked the same question. The answer has always been..."you are better off buying an older roo that can be lifted for a muuuuuuuch lower price." I know there are some companies over seas that make them but figure the price and then shipping all that metal overseas....$$$$$$$$$$ Like you wanted to hear this.
