August 25, 200322 yr I have an 85 GL non turbo. The blower motor does not come on at all, I hooked it up to a battery and it worked fine. Replaced the blower resistor pack and it still does not come on. Someone mentioned the AC/Heater switch may be the problem. Does anyone have any opinions on this problem? Please help Thanks in advance
August 25, 200322 yr I had a problem like that try pulling out the 4 speed switch a little and shimming it with paper, thats what i had to do to get mine working
August 25, 200322 yr EDIT: Never mind my advice.. I just re-read your post and saw that you already replaced the resistor pack. BTW.. Its nice to hear of another old school soob in texas.
August 25, 200322 yr Check the fuses. If the fuse(s) for the blower is good, then check the relay. There are four relays above the fuse box. One of those is for the blower. I had the same problem and the culprit turned out to be the relay. If the fuses and relay are good, then the problem may be the switch.
