February 9, 200521 yr I have an 1981 Brat, just found some good lookin' 14" alloy Pug's on a 1979 junkyard sedan: First, will they fit or will the offset be too much? I did a search on USMB and couldn't find enough to clarify exactly what wheels, and tire sizes would fit on my 81 Brat without a lift, or at least doing some cutting? The fender cutting would be O.K., but also can't find enough info on a lift for Gen 1's. Thanks for a clarification on what size wheel and tire works with a Generation 1 Brat.
February 9, 200521 yr There are no pre-fabbed lifts for any gen one car. Also, the gen ones rear control arm comes very close to the rear wheel/tire combo. I don't know if the 14" pugs will fit with stock pug tire size on there, but I guess you'll just have to test it out.
February 9, 200521 yr Bolt one on and find out Even if you buy the rims and they have too much backspacing; you could turn them around right here on the USMB.

Still dealin' one the car at the JY, and I think carfreak85 may be right about the backspacing issue. I guess I can always use them on my 82 Brat Right?
