Tin Soldier Posted February 15, 2005 Share Posted February 15, 2005 The new Loyale is spiking up to hot and then going back down and running normal. It spikes after about 5 minutes of driving, but then comes back down. Also, it starts hard, and I can smell gas. It seems to idle a bit rough too. Are these all connected? Ross Posted February 15, 2005 Share Posted February 15, 2005 The cooling prob sounds very much like a sticking thermostat, try replacing it.
