I did this same kinda of swap on my 92 loyale. I found the same problem. The trim didn't match up at all. The headliner had been cut back to far and some of the holes for mounting where different. But I still liked the result.

This is just me personally and doesn't mean jack...... But I like a bumper that sticks out a bit. Little more space before the tree hits the rest of the car. 2 broken tailights and a broken headlight settle this for me. Oh, I have welded a couple of unibodies before and never had a problem with inspections. One was a trailer hitch. The others where welding bumpers on.

Can I just buy these premade from your for like $25? I am lazy and have no junkyards nearby to get stuff from. My EGR has been bad for almost two years now. I have replaced it twice and it lasts about a month before going out again. -

I have owned both DL and Gl style. I have found no difference in lighting between the two. They both suck compared to newer cars. I installed fog/driving lights on both and found a marked improvement. Even with cheapo $18 lights there was a big difference in visibility. Also, better bulbs on both types helped a lot too. I want some HIDs for my wagon.

All I want to know is.... When will you have one ready to sell?

My 87 GL-10 wagon was an auto with pushbutton 4wd. No rear lsd or anything fancy. My 89 GL-10 wagon was a 5spd fulltime with a center lock and LSD Other then that the cars were identical.

Anyone have installation instructions for PK lift?
Tin Soldier replied to Tin Soldier's topic in Off Road
How big was it? I didn't get it. I upped my limit to 100mb's so that should fix it. -
Anyone have installation instructions for PK lift?
Tin Soldier replied to Tin Soldier's topic in Off Road
Well I Started to install the lift tonite. I got the strut tower things installed (had to steal the nuts off a parts car). I got the radius rods and found the bolts that looked right, but they look to long by about an inch. So I tried to thread one up in, but it didn't fit. I only found one bolt in my box of lift parts that fit right. I still did not get those instructions. Can someone email them to me? Also, does the instructions tell which bolts to use? I might have to go buy some different ones. Or can I buy a bolt kit? :-P -
UMM... Not sure how the center cap obstructs you view any more then the wheel does. The only thing it covers is the ugly nut at the end of the axles. If grease is leaking out here there is some serious issues and it's prolly going to seep around the cap to.

steering wheel swap? IMPREZA wheel in a GL
Tin Soldier replied to suberdave's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
I am using an Imprezza MOMO adapter on my loyale. I didn't bother to drill it out I just stuck it on and then forced the nut down. There is not much threads sticking out but it does have a lock washer so it should be fine. -
I only bought 4 at the time. And yes that price covered all 4 so $25 a wheel. I do have all four chrome center caps, but they don't stay on very well and if you have drums in rear forget it. They clip on and there not enuff room on a drum to get them to clip. On the disc you canfit the clips in between the 4 dog ears, but I have lost two already pretty easy. I still four left if you want them. I paid $20, so $20 plus shipping. They are chrome and say Mazda in the center, but the Mazda thing is just a metal sticker and comes off pretty easily.

HEY!! I never got stickers either. I don't know whose lift it is. It's made from aluminum blocks, but looks identical to the BYB (better? ) lift that I had on my DL. I bought it used on here, and that fella took it off a car he bought with it on. So he didn't know either. -
