February 20, 200521 yr Hello! You might already know, I rolled my GL Wagon . I'll put the pics here. I have some good news...pressed for a daily driver I fixed my Turbo GL-10. It runs pretty smoothly...i have it at 20' BTDC but when I cruise around 4grand....it surges...any suggestions on what that might be? I'm sure the gas in it is ancient could that be a problem. Thanks. [HTi]Johnson EDIT::: PICS ADDED
February 20, 200521 yr Check the connection to the mass air flow sensor, the one on Jessica's car was loose and made it surge...
February 20, 200521 yr Looks like the roof held up ok on the '83! How fast were you when it rolled? Ive seen lesser cars look a lot worse after slow rolls.
February 20, 200521 yr Sorry for your loss., nice wagon. About your question, yes our turbos can have problems as you describe if the gas does not live up to the expectations of the knock sensor and other bits in the fuel injection system. Probably would not hurt to throw a can of Techron or Seafoam in with a fresh tank of high test as.. The injectors may want a little cleanin Good luck and agian shame about the wagon hope all parties involved are safe.
February 20, 200521 yr Author It was a slow motion roll over...like the car almost didn't roll over. Yeah I was lucky I had no passengers. Oh yeah...the first thing out of my mouth when I was in the car was "Take a picture". THen I couldn't get the belt undone and I asked for a knife...but after a little playing with the buckle it opened and I fell to the roof and crawled out. [HTi]Johnson
February 20, 200521 yr Author YAY:banana:. I got the GL-10 running and it's a little rough when it first starts. But it works for my way to work. [HTi]Johnson
