Travis, don't feel like an idiot ... the cooling system is problematic. There is evidence that many (if not most) of the later model 2.5 HG issues are the result of improper air bubble expulsion creating heat stress.

 

Judging by the posts, many of these errors were committed by Subaru Service Centers.
