Hello.

#1 I got my WRX intercooler in today:headbang:. I was wondering on where do i get the vacuum line for the blow off valve, I know it needs vacuum to open.(the diaphram does).

#2 All my idiot lights are on even if the ignition is on. Any suggestions on why?

#3 My lights pulsate the faster I go, I'm assuming it's the alternator not being to make up for all the spark.

#4 When I turn on my heater controls any of them, my temp guage shoots UP to max, then when I turn it off in 30 seconds it goes down back to normal.

1- Vacuum lines - about $.50/ft at an auto parts store

2- Idiot lights - Alternator

3- Pulsating lights - Alternator

4- temp gauge - you have an 87+ didgidash? I had the same trouble.. its a ground problem.. I ran some extra grounds under the hood and it went away. I still don't trust it, so I installed an aftermarket gauge in my pillar pod.

I know where to get vacuum lines...I meant where do they run from...from where to the to the blow off. Sorry for the unclearness.

But thanks for all the info. I do have a 1987 Digi dash.

What usually goes bad with an alternator?

Get the vacuum from tha intake manifold. Look for an intake nipple or T it in with a hose that connects to the intake manifold.
