April 16, 200520 yr Suprised to find no between valve cracks on the ea81t heads! Someone had put solid lifters in it though, i might see fi i can find some hla's. On a worse note, the coolant supply to the turbo was blocked! When i took the connection off the head, it looked like a blind hole. Dug out a lot of dry crap with a screw driver. This would explain why the previous owner replaced the turbo with a NEW one just before i bought it! Hope its still ok....
April 16, 200520 yr im not really a fan of the water cooled turbos anyway. they arent used anymore and are obsolete. new designs are more efficient and improved. must have been running horrible to be that oily looking though.
