That looks awesome. Kinda wierd how travis pastrana is trying to get into the rally circuit. If I had a wrx or RX you know I would be there tearin it up.

This is the other side of Pro Rally. Subie Gal and Matt are okay, but it could have gone more awry very easily. This is Jamie's post from the ORG discussion forum:

Hey Everyone,

I've been too tired/stressed to write up a press release -

but i do have some photos and details to share

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART okay?

#1 thanks to the EMT's and Dr Deb on the scene.

you guys were great - in spite of my state of shock and anger (sorry!)

#2 thanks to Gary... i love you. that is all.

#3 thank you Dave Clark for building a helluva cage

#4 the car can be fixed - We didnt roll. WE FLIPPED

somehow - the back of the wagon became unsettled, then airborne

The initial point of impact was roof above my head...

we slid along for sometime on our lid before coming to a stop on Matt's side

of the car

shortly there after, Mr Burnsie did his thing and caught fire again....!!!

i've got a slight head deal - concussion or whatever and Matt is just fine

We are very lucky and very grateful to all who helped us off the stage.

small write up and photos are here:

thanks to all who have emailed, phoned and shared their concern for us.

We appreciate it!!

I personally love all you guys. the rally community just rocks :)

look forward to being back out there and am planning on Dryad.... !

take care and rally on!

Jamie Thomas

yep it was a blast and the corner we were at on sunday of the event we were at a hairpin and you could tell that Stig Blomqvist (some of you guys prolly recognise that name lol and if not then I could explain it) and Travis Pastrana were hauling and doing it correctly through that corner

6 rolls of film were taken that weekend by my friends (but alas I didn't have my digi cause of my Neices prom and sis-in-law wanting to use the camera at the last moment :( ) and I will get on the ball soon about seeing when they are developing them and having pic cd's made :)

and in a few of them you guys might enjoy seeing the rock sculptures that my friend and I made in between stages at that hairpin while we were road marshals
