I've done the install, very simple. I did have to do a little cutting and welding to the factory mount but it didn't need to be removed from the car to do it. I'll try to get some pics of the mount after I dig it out of the box of parts I stripped from that car.

That's with the factory hitachi A/C still installed? Or did you already remove the A/C components? Just wondering cause my ALT died this morning. Maybe I'll just swap my other suby alt in there till all this GM alt stuff gets ironed out.
