July 11, 200520 yr certain hazards -- sudden drop-offs, namely -- are a little more difficult to identify: I thought I was Suba-screwed (i.e., was going to slide off or flip over). After managing to climb out, I had to abandon her for the night, get a ride home, and then return the next day with SuBrat84. Wish I could have gotten some pics/footage of the extrication, but had to man the helm. Lurch saved the day... twice. (Shamaru later decided to beach herself.)
July 11, 200520 yr That looks prettty hairy. Glad you didn't roll it. Nice fog lights always help night brawling.
July 11, 200520 yr Far from rolling there but I'm sure it scared you good in the dark! Trail riding at night is fun but its also alot more risky. A lot more easy to get lost and if someone breaks down or gets stuck it really makes for a long night.
July 11, 200520 yr thats good you didnt roll it. it does look like you had a lil fun goin threw that big puddle in subrat84's post
July 11, 200520 yr most of the off-roading i do is at night.. but then again we don't have terrain like that in NH Good lights will make a world of difference.. well.. doesn't help your traction or roll angle.. but you can see when you're going over!
July 12, 200520 yr Some good off road light are your friend. has any one seen the new(er) kc hid lights. they pump out 600,000 candle power! but they also pump out 800 dollars out of your wallet.
