Why does my car seem to have trouble when the air is really moist?(raining)... I seem to have less power when I'm driving in the rain. just me? I don't use the defroster much......

first guess: weakness in ignition system somewhere.

 

ever see sparks under the hood at night?

 

perhaps your plugs/cap/rotor/wires/coil need replacement

does it start to miss?is the carbed?

it's carbed..... and the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor are all new. haven't seen sparks at night though.... maybe it's the coil...??

If it's really heavy rain and the humidity is high you might just be getting moisture in the engine. My carb'd 2002 does that. Ask me why my 2002 is carb'd. It's my favorite game : )
