July 18, 200520 yr Hey everyone, was wondering about sumpin. Has anyone ever seen or hear of a D/r FT4WD 3.90:1 5spd?? Jes wonding, cause I've decided that this is what the 84 Turbo should have in it. Nothing else will really do for me.
July 18, 200520 yr someone can yell at me if I'm nuts but............. Subaru only made two FT4wd trannies in the late 80s... the RX and the XT6... the xt6 was a 3.9 but no D/R... the RX was D/R but was 3.7.....
July 18, 200520 yr Author So what we're saying is that the tranny that I want would indeed be something special to own. I like that idea, cause it does have to be pretty special to be in my car. That and I like to do things different.
