Can I change my head gaskets w/o pulling the engine?EA82T

Featured Replies

I'm low on cash so, I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible.

Can I?

ya you can, but its easier to do with the engine out its not that hard to pull the engine anyways just get a couple of your buddys(the big ones) and have them pull it thats what I did:headbang:

I did it on a XT Turbo, only had to do one side. I didn't even pull the intake, made it a quick job. You could do this on yours if you do one side at a time. It's a little harder to clean the block properly, I did it from under the car. The car is still running great a year later.
