I have had a terrible time with poor parts quality lately. Wanted to use subaru intake gaskets on my car, but they are special order...take till monday. Bought felpro gaskets instead. Has anyone had any trouble with Felpro gaskets? Especially lately...I find that manufacturers sometimes change suppliers and sometimes the quality drops. Don't want to do all the work twice!

Over the last 30 years, I have had good experiences with FelPro gaskets. they have a good reputation elsewhere.

 

That being said, I have not used them on Subaru engines (yet), and there are some strong opinions here about their Subaru sets being unacceptable.

I use them all the time...but don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about this set. May have to wait till Monday. Hey a break in wrenching might be a good thing.

I use felpro for all my gaskets if possible.

I just got Felpro gaskets for the dome covers and oil pan for my replacement engine and they're cork. Is this good?
