ac question

Featured Replies

on my wife's 88 turbo full time 4wd a/t wagon, she says a white fog comes out the vents and then shortly after the ac will not blow cold air, twice now i have added , is there a easy fix ? it is r-134

unless youve had it retrofitted, its an r-12 system. the white fog might be condensation, and the core might be freezing over preventing the cold air from blowing out. i think.next time it does that, check to see if there is reduced air flow or if yo can tell if the condensor core under the dash had frozen.

yes it has been changed over from r-12 to r-134 , if it is freezing up then why after you let it set over night and turn on the ac it does not blow cold air?+ when i put a gauge on it ,it reads low
