will any crank from a subaru work on a xt ? , because my power window on the passanger side does not work , how hard is it to put in ? does any one have all the parts needed ? :wave:

I have not tried interchanging cranks before, but I have had the door panels off of both ea81 and ea82 subarus, and the cranks hook up exactly the same way as far as I can tell. It should be the same for an XT.

It's probably easier to just fix the power window.

 

The worst thing it could be is a bad motor, and replacing one isn't bad at all. You probably have some extras from the doors you've saved. The other possibilities are electrical, and fairly easy to track down.

from what i saw was the xt had some odd cable driven window syste, wheras all the other soob windows were of the "scissor" type.

 

the plastic cable retainers broke off, so the cable just flexes around rather than pull anything.
