faulty vacume and transmission problems

Featured Replies

Just woundering. maybe someone here with expiriance could tell me. Could a faulty of leaking vacume system on an 86 carbed ea82 could cause transmission shifting problems?

Also, any info or ideas on proper vac readings and guage hook up points?

Thanks

yes. I recently diagnosed this problem on my sube.

Check the vacuum line that runs from your transmission to the manifold. Check all the lines on the t's after that... and make sure they are all snug.

We had about four I found yesterday that were hooked up wrong/off or not working right (plugged)
