early as in 1990-1994 models, id like to know what years, i have a 1990 wagon that has a slightly slipping clutch, would be easy to put the spare XT6 clutch kit i have on it.

OK sorry for being ignorant about this, but does the early EJ series engines bolt up to the EA tranny?? For some reason I thought the EJ bellhousing was larger and one had to get this adapter plate -that someone on the board here makes??

No year EJ motor will bolt up to an EA tranny without an adapter plate.
