I knocked one side of the diff hanger off last night on a log. The bar is pretty bent, i've read about people reinforcing them but wondered if anyone had any pics. I have a welder so its just about finding the best design.

I added a strap of 1 1/4 steel along the bottom

to form a inverted "T" shape.

Try subarubrat.com too, I remember seeing that he had redone his mustache bar with his lift.

McBrat's got a piece welded onto the top of his, not much, but makes a 'T' cross-section, I bet that makes it quite a bit stronger!
